Spent some time in one of the cleanest, friendliest cities I've ever been to, in late November. Since I was there essentially because of a conference, I didn't get to completely play tourist, but did manage to get out of the hotel a bit. Besides the coldest weather I've experienced in quite a while, this is some of what I found...........
At 1815 feet, 5 inches, the CN (Canadian National) Tower is the world's tallest free-standing structure (this is about 20 blocks away).
I thought about going up in it, and stood staring up at it from directly below, but my fear of heights won, and I decided against heaving on Canada. I found that I REALLY enjoy living where it doesn't snow (but don't mind borrowing cold-weather wear and visiting it). "Critique" scultpture on bridge leading to CN Tower and the Skydome (on the right). Glad that wasn't my cab. Hockey Hall of Fame Part of Nebuchadnezzar's palace wall............... .................of course it's a lion "Can you hear it, too?" plaque on a wall on Queen Street .....just intrigued me, that's all...... Because why would you shop with an average queen? (Caption to change frequently...just too many, here) A late night the last night....with a really great bunch of people, and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting them all! Among the greatest of the whole bunch :-)
